| While every effort is made to ensure dogs and puppies are healthy and congenitally sound, it is still recommended you have your pet examined by a licensed veterinarian of your choice (and at your expense) within 72 hours (3 business days) of transfer. If there are any health problems, you must provide a written statement from your veterinarian, showing the date of the exam and specifying the condition. You may then immediately return the dog for a full refund of the purchase price; or choose a different dog of equal value, when one is available. Please note that you must return the dog in the same condition and within 72 hours of the transfer. Buyer waives the right to any refund and assumes all responsibility for any expenses incurred if he/she chooses to keep a dog that does not pass a veterinary examination. This guarantee does not cover accident, injury or mishandling, or any non-genetic disease, illness or defect, including but not limited to: • Worms & Parasites, such as Coccidia and Giardia • Hypoglycemia – This is a preventable condition. Please carefully read the Poodle Info. • Umbilical Hernia – This is common in puppies and will usually disappear by 6 months of age. • Under or Over-bite – These can develop at any time during growth and are not foreseeable. The Seller also does not guarantee the color or size of any dog. The Seller does not guarantee testicles on males or refund any money due to extra costs incurred for neutering a male dog with undescended testicles. This dog is intended to be a companion dog, and no warranty is made as to merchantability for any other purpose, including, but not limited to, breeding or showing. If the Buyer elects not to have a veterinary exam within 72 hours, he/she forfeits the right to return the puppy for replacement, except in the case of a genetic defect. Dogs purchased as adults (older than twelve months) are not covered by the genetic guarantee after the 72 hour period. In the event that a life-threatening genetic illness is diagnosed in a puppy by a qualified veterinarian within one year of purchase, the Seller agrees to provide a replacement puppy of similar value/appearance when one is available, after return of the defective dog. The Buyer must return the dog within 5 (five) days of diagnosis, with a dated, written veterinary statement certifying the dog’s condition. If the Buyer chooses to return the dog for a replacement, he/she relinquishes all rights and claims to the dog. If the Buyer waives his/her right to a replacement and chooses not to return the dog, the Buyer assumes responsibility for all expenses; including, but not limited to, transportation, consultations, medications, therapies or surgical procedures. The Seller is in no way liable for any expenses or damages incurred prior to the correct diagnosis of the genetic condition. |
